The goal of this publication is to identify and characterize the typical problems with information quality on websites, and to present exemplary remedies for those problems. In this article the information quality problems within their origins, as well as the consequences of using poor-quality information by the Internet user were defined. Wykorzystanie ram jakości M.J. Epplera do ewaluacji jakości informacji serwisów internetowych PWSZ

Celem artykułu jest określenie ocena jakości informacji na przykładzie stron serwisów internetowych Państwowych Wyższych Szkół Zawodowych w Polsce. W badaniu wykorzystano ramy jakości informacji M.J. Epplera jako narzędzia diagnostycznego do identyfikacji luk w jakości informacji. Oceny dokonano z perspektywy użytkownika witryny. Na podstawie wyników utworzono ranking witryn PWSZ w Polsce w obszarze jakości treści oraz dokonano analizy kryteriów jakości informacji w obszarze infrastruktury witryn. The paper presents the measurement of selected web indicators using the example of websites of the state higher vocational schools in Poland. The obtained indicators were used to assess specific criteria of information quality on websites. Based on the conducted study, it can be concluded that the web indicators can be used in the process of improving information quality on websites.
