Objetivo: Analizar la prevalencia del estreñimiento funcional asociado o no a encopresis, los factores implicados en su desarrollo y la respuesta al tratamiento. Pacientes y métodos: Estudio prospectivo de 62 niños en el que se incluyó cuestionario estándar (edad de comienzo, hábito higiénico, encopresis, complicaciones, encuesta dietética y factores psicológico-ambientales) y exploraciones clínica y antropométrica.
