Il tema è, da una parte, la ricostruzione del monumento in un quadro di restituzione iconica e identitaria, e dall’altra quello della ricostruzione dei centri storici e di parti intere di città in un quadro di emergenza ambientale. Essi sono strettamente connessi e hanno a che fare con una comune teoria della rovina che comprende indistintamente le distruzioni per eventi naturali, quelle per eventi bellici e naturalmente quelle per mano del tempo, osservate tutte in una prospettiva formale delle vestigia e del loro potenziale di persistenza come patrimonio. The paper presents the results of a residential workshop dedicated to ephemeral architecture and urban renewal. Through theoretical lectures, planning and design exercises and a close relationship with the inhabitants inside the place to regenerate, the work-shop made it clear to the group of students coming from the Politecnico di Milano, the Academy of Fine Arts of Brescia and the University IUAV of Venice that “light” design elements can clearly transform the perception of a place by improving its liveability.

During the 16th Century the cabinet of antiquities of the Grimani family allows the Serenissima to show its cultural power in relation to classical art so as to be considered "altera Roma". The Patriarch Giovanni, a refined collector and cultured follower of Mannerist architecture, builds this room of wonders in which architecture and antiquities are integrated and enhanced by the scenographic taste that runs throughout the building. The collection, donated to the Republic of Venice in 1593, returns to the kunstkammer after 400 years thanks to an exhibition. Quando Adele, figlia unica di Cesare Cassina ed erede dell'azienda simbolo del design Made in Italy, decise con il marito Rodrigo Rodriquez di costruire la casa per la propria famiglia, tra tutti i famosi architetti a cui si sarebbe potuta affidare, scelse il quasi sconosciuto Colin Glennie, come gesto evidente di indipendenza dalla figura paterna. In 1579, at the end of a career studded with prestigious assignments, Andrea Palladio designed for the Olympic Academy a “theater on an ancient model but small and unspeakably beautiful”, as Goethe wrote in his Journey to Italy. A planimetric form, a social function and architectural details, however, severely shows it off from the Vitruvian body of rules of classical theater, enhancing its originality and making it an invention rooted in late-Alexandrian architectures visited and surveyed by Palladio at the Hadrian's Villa in Tivoli.

È stata presentata ad Abano Terme la mostra Intersezioni, con opere degli artisti Daniela e Marzia Banci per arte orafa e scultura, Vittorio Spigai per pittura e scultura. Aperta dal 4 settembre al 4 ottobre, è stata prorogata sino al 10 ottobre per consentire la visita alle molte persone prenotate, che si sono dovute alternare a causa delle normative Covid19. La mostra propone un programma costruito tra riflessione filosofica, studi iconologici, arte orafa, pittura e scultura, con un discorso introduttivo di Umberto Curi.
