Abstract OT-31-01: A phase II study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab plus carboplatin in BRCA-related metastatic breast cancer: PEMBRACA trial

Abstract Background Considering the high proportion of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) in BRCA-related breast cancer, we expect that PD-1 pathway is highly expressed and PD-1 antagonist pembrolizumab could provide clinical activity in this kind of tumor. Furthermore, BRCA-related breast cancers are known to be more sensitive to platinum-derived drugs. Thus the association between Pembrolizumab and Carboplatin in metastatic BRCA-related breast cancer seems to be active in this setting of patients.
