Modeling of energy transfer from the photon beam at an optical media
Laser beam could be applied to act in optical media, to build different spatial images. The operation could be made direct by copying an image or through a C.D. The successive points could be realized with relatively high speed, like 103-105 points per second. Each point represents practically a machining operation done by the laser beam. In most cases, energy transfer is made not in a plane, but in a volume, and this requires moving the focal point in positions required by the image we want to create. This is a sequentially operation, made point by point following a definite order, but in the same time, because the image is spatially, we have to adapt also other parameters of the optical s…
ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINING - A HIGH FUTURE NONCONVENTIONAL PROCESSING PROCESS

The Capital’s Election Criteria Used in the Financial Management of a Company’s Financing Decision
The optimization of the capital structures of a company after the cost criteria represents a profitable activity, provided that it is well conceived, organized and carried out. For this consideration, the capital’s structure and their medium cost is an important profit source for the company, so the profit comes from this source, and not from the exploitation activity or other financial sources or traditional exceptive. In conclusion, the cost of the capital has to be previewed; the company has to build an adequate strategy and tactical procedures to accomplish this challenge. Besides the capital’s cost, in this paper we present some other criteria that can interfere in the choice of the fi…

Effect of gaseous impurities and the laser optics
The impurities into the volume of a material appear while the elaboration process of the considered material. If a material is non-homogenous, even if we machine this material by means of a classical technology we could remark some differences in the machining process like cutting, drilling a.s.o. even in the process of welding. The impurities may be gaseous or solid. Each kind of impurity has another effect for the classical tool, or for a non-traditional tool i.e. a kind of concentrated energy. Each kind of medium has another reaction versus laser beam, because each medium has other physical characteristics. The modifications of characteristics require modifications of photon beam paramet…
Cultural Institutes – Enablers of Sustainable Development
Abstract The primary goal of this study is to examine the role of culture - as one of the most enduring, vital and long-lived components of sustainable development, with multifarious potential continuously explored and capitalized by individuals, communities or institutions. All definitions of the phrase sustainable development include culture as a sine-qua-non element that is also inextricably connected and interdependent with the other three pillars: economic, social and environmental. In this context of cultural centres worldwide, Confucius Institutes represent a successful and efficient managerial model by capitalizing on the most important resource of an organization: human capital.
