El «llibre cortés de lectura» en català: a propòsit del manuscrit F-129 del Col·legi de la Sapiència de Palma
The manuscript F-129 of the Col·legi de la Sapiència de Palma contains three works of Ramon Llull. It is made up of two separate manuscripts belonging to the first generation of Lullian codices (that is, not later than the first quarter of the fourteenth century). This collection is preceded by a remarkable full-page illustration, an analysis of which shows that it was probably based on a similar miniature from a French codex emanating from Llull’s immediate circle. The codicological model applicable to this manuscrit is that of «libro cortese di lettura».
«Enfre la vinya e·l fenollar»? La composició del «Llibre d'Amic e Amat» i l'experiència mística de Ramon Llull
The essay's main purpose is to eradicate the topic that the Blaquerna is in fact Llull’s autobiography and that the LAA reflects in a direct way R. Llull's mystical experience. While the LAA fits perfectly the general structure of the Blaquerna and could very well nave originally been conceived as a part of this novel, the evidence so far available seems to indicate that the LAA never existed as an independent text.
La representació de l’arbre en l’Arbre de ciència de Ramon Llull
ABSTRACT: The abundant use of graphic material in the work of Ramon Llull makes for a space where words and images intersect. The figure of the tree which Llull describes verbally in his Arbre de ciencia (1295-1296) is a complex and special case of the application of a rhetorical device called «ekphrasis». Despite the fact that the author did not envisage the possibility of making a visual representation, in the work's later transmission attempts were made to provide graphic images with results which were unsatisfactory for many reasons, of which the most important was the fact that Llull conceived of his tree as multidimensional. Representació gràfica i ècfrasi en l’obra de Ramon Llull
El present treball estudia la relació que s’estableix entre text i representacions gràfiques en les obres de Ramon Llull, fent una atenció especial al recurs retòric anomenat ècfrasi, això és, la descripció verbal d’un objecte visual. S’analitzen casos de descripció de figures lul·lianes, sobretot esquemes arboris, en presència de la seva representació (ècfrasi referencial) o en absència de la mateixa (ècfrasi nocional).
