The aim of this study was to build MRI-based structured reports for rectal cancer (RC) staging and restaging in order to provide clinicians all critical tumor information. The aims of this study are to determine the frequency of diagnosis of atypical lobular hyperplasia (ALH) and lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS) at stereotaxic-guided 11-gauge vacuum-assisted breast biopsy (VABB) and to assess the rate of underestimation of these at subsequent surgical excision and follow-up. Moreover, we aimed to define clinical, radiological and histological features of nonpalpable lesions in core biopsies that predict the lesion upgrade. Background: GOLFIG is a chemo-immunotherapy regimen established in preclinical models that combines gemcitabine + FOLFOX (fluoropyrimidine backbone coupled to oxaliplatin) poly-chemotherapy with low-dose s. c. recombinant interleukin-2 (rIL-2) and granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF). Promising antitumor effects in metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) patients were obtained in previous phase II and III trials. Here we report the results of 15 years of follow-up.
