Research arising from self-determination theory (SDT; Deci, E. L., & Ryan, R. M. (2000). The “what” and “why” of goal pursuits: Human needs and the self-determination of behavior. Psychological Inquiry, 11(4), 227–268) indicates that the quality of the social interactions between athletes and coaches, and athletes' ensuing psychological responses, are critical determinants of intentions to drop out of youth sport. Validation of the Spanish version of multidimensional inventory of perfectionism in young athletes

espanolEl InventarioMultidimensional de Perfeccionismo en Deporte (MIPS) es una medida deportiva especifica del perfeccionismo desarrollado a partir de una combinacion de diferentes modelos multidimensionales. Este estudio analiza las propiedades psicometricas del MIPS en una muestra espanola de jovenes futbolistas. Participaron 429 futbolistas espanoles con edades comprendidas entre 9 y 13 anos.
