Dins el motlle macrogeneric que son les revistes especialitzades podologiques, els generes mes academics son els articles d’investigacio i els de revisio. Les altres seccions, comencant per l’editorial quan n’hi ha, tendeixen a activar la cohesio grupal i reforcar el sentit identitari d’una manera mes visible. Els editorials exerceixen el carrec de portaveu dels editors, sovint del gremi sencer i, com a porta d’entrada a la publicacio, opten sovint pel format epistolar o se serveixen de titulars cridaners que s’aproximen a la retorica periodistica, ben ensinistrada en els usos metaforics, com veurem. The diabetic foot, according to the International Consensus on the Diabetic Foot, is an infection, ulceration or destruction of the deep tissues related to neurological alterations and peripheral vascular disease in the lower limbs [1]. This pathology represents an important problem of public health because the affected patients can suffer amputations and even the death [2].
