Faktor - Faktor Penentu Minat Mahasiswa Mahasiswa Asli Papua untuk Bekerja di Sektor Pertanian Kehutanan dan Perikanan

This article aims to analyze the factors that determine the interest of indigenous Papuan students at the Faculty of Economics, University of Papua to work in the agricultural, forestry and fisheries sectors. Using a quantitative descriptive research approach, it is found that the results of the analysis show that the respondent's family environmental factor is the most dominant factor influencing a student's decision to work in the agricultural, forestry or fisheries sector. The income expectation factor also has a positive and significant effect, thus illustrating that the business prospects in the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors remain promising for job seekers in West Papua.…

This study aims to determine the effect of education level and occupation on the family income in Manbesak Village, North Biak District, Biak Regency, Papua Province. The number of samples used in this study were 77 families in Manbesak Village and the data analysis used was multiple linear regression quantitative analysis with education level and occupation as independent variables and income as the dependent variable. Based on the discussion of the research result, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between the level of education and occupation on family income in Manbesak Village with the coefficient of determination obtained at 73.3 percent.
