The article presents a measurement tool validation process diagnosing an adult person’s cultural participation styles. Its objective is to describe the obtained results at individual stages of the validation and determine the connection between cultural participation styles and cultural systems presented by sociologists of culture. Consequently, cultural participation style of an adult person is the subject of the research. The pilot studies as well as the actual research have been conducted in Opolskie province. Use of the concept of positive prevention in care and educational work in children’s homes
The aim of this article is to show the possibility of using the assumptions of positive prevention and the model of multidimensional positive prevention in care and education in children’s homes. The article draws attention to the impact which the quality of care and education has on whether the children’s transition to independent living outside the facility is successful. Taking into account the specific nature of risk factors occurring in the lives of children in care, the article proposes to modify the traditional understanding of the preventive function of a children’s home. This article presents the results of a pilot and exploration study. The main objective of the research was to investigate the differences of intergenerational learning in the process of hominisation. For the purpose of the study the author used the quantitative strategy of research and author’s instrument of measurement. In the study participated 50 adult respondents from province opolskie.
