Although the meanings of citizenship, active citizenship and organized crime are still open to debate, we try to show the evaluation of the culture of legality and the investments in social, economic and cultural programs for youth as a major defense for such a capillary phenomenon. Fungal biodiversity and in situ conservation in Italy

A remarkable increase in knowledge of fungal biodiversity in Italy has occurred in the last five years. The authors report up-to-date numbers of fungi (Basidiomycota and Ascomycota) by regions together with distributional and ecological data on hypogeous fungi. Specific case studies such as alpine fungi, orchid mycorrhizas symbionts, invasive species, and the use of macrofungi as food by red squirrels are analyzed. In situ conservation strategies carried out on target species and/or taxonomic groups are also indicated.

Nel presente contributo metteremo in evidenza che, andando alla ricerca di tracce dell’antitesi scritto-parlato nella storia del pensiero, l’indagine sull’epoca ellenistica (323 a.C. – 31 a.C.) ci restituisce una tendenza piuttosto chiara: tali tracce non le troviamo nella riflessione filosofica riconducibile alle tre principali scuole dell’epoca (Epicureismo, Stoicismo e Scetticismo), quanto piuttosto nella trattatistica retorica la quale, ovviamente, si nutre anche della riflessione filosofica precedente, ma ha tuttavia una sua specificità di metodo ed oggetto di indagine.

Nel secondo capitolo del primo libro della Retorica, definendo la prova basata sull’ethos (1356a 4-13), Aristotele collega la capacità dell’oratore di risultare credibile (pistos) presso il suo uditorio all’epieikeia, una qualità morale tipica del saggio (phronimos) che svolge un ruolo importante anche nella teoria aristotelica della giustizia (EN 1337a 32-1138a 3). In linea generale, la caratteristica specifica dell’epieikes è per Aristotele la capacità di esprimere giudizi e prendere decisioni caso per caso tenendo conto delle circostanze, anche al di là di ciò che è stabilito dalla legge (dikaion).
