This article deals with the representations of Spanish transition to democracy shown by television in Spain from 1995 to nowadays. Without claiming to be exhaustive, it analyses the recycling as well as the re-creating of scenes and figures which already belong to History although they are still present in collective memory. The analysis of a few fictional and informative programmes will enable us to sketch out a cartography of the representations of the transition on television. Cuerpos adolescentes en el cine español 1982-1998

El presente artículo propone esbozar un panorama de las representaciones de adolescentes en el cine español durante los gobiernos socialistas a partir de 1982 y hasta 1998. Tras la reivindicación de la libertad propia de la Transición, en que el adolescente tenía a menudo la autonomía de un adulto, el cuerpo adolescente del período posterior traduce más bien en la pantalla un abanico de deseos frustrados. También es un cuerpo malherido por los excesos de todo tipo, el consumo en abuso de drogas o imágenes, quizás un fantasma más que un cuerpo dado que nunca llega a figurar la revolución que es (o que debería ser) la adolescencia.

This text offers to analyse Juan José Campanella’s picture El secreto de sus ojos (2009) connecting it with its coherence or distance in respect to traditional codes of melodrama. The male and sometimes ironic focus on pathetic possibilities seems to present it as an inverted melodrama. The love story seems to be pushed into the background by the investigation of a criminal case in pre-dictatorial context, whereas in actual fact, the three levels of the synopsis intertwine to build the framework’s logic. "Buen viaje, excelencia" (Albert Boadella, 2003) is a satirical fiction presenting iconoclasts looks crossed on the last days of Franco. Like a modern Don Quixote, the dictator appears enclosed and private of his reason in the imaginary world of his warriors memorabilia. The German psychiatrist who takes care of him makes the viewer share a look at the grotesque of a regime that is dying. Relatives of the dictator are portrayed as a group of predatory hypocrites, submitted before the warlord but anxious to recover his inheritance. Boadella thus proposes a look back at the end of the dictatorship, too corrosive perhaps according to its sparse distribution.
