The purpose of this study is to determine the basic and non-basic sectors, the growth rate of each sector towards economic growth, the contribution of each sector to economic growth, to classify sector growth in the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on the Typology Klassen matrix of Manokwari Regency. and West Papua Province. The data used in this study is in the form of time series data from Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in the period 2013-2017. The extent to which a region has developed can be measured from a decrease percentage of population living in poverty. Tambrauw Regency which is located in West Papua Province has the highest number of poor people after Pegunungan Arfak Regency. The aim of this research is to examine the social and economic factors that influence the level of poverty in Tambrauw Regency.
