One case of solid aneurysmal bone cyst is reported. It's an un usual intraoseus lesion wich can be mistaken with a variety of other conditions more aggressive. The clinical, pathologic and inmunohistochemical features are more suggestive of a benign lesion with a typical charaderistics.

Se presentan18 casos utilizando implantes de libra de carbono en lesiones, de ligamentos cruzados de la rodilla. Indicados sólo en lesiones inveteradas y en agudas localizadas en el tercie medio. El implante presenta adecuadas propiedades mecánicas. buena biocompatibilidad e induce la formación de colágeno. Los resultados obtenidos a los 2 años son excelentes. pero es importante hacer una nueva evaluación a los 5 años.

The authors report their experience in 5 cases of necrosis on the head of the femur with minimal changes, treated with electric stimulation («Osteostin 2,000»). After one year of clinical and radiological follow-up, the results are not convincing. This experience suggests that this method is not an adviceable solution.

Four cases of myositis ossificans circumscripta are reported: two cases occurred in healthty individuals without any history of trauma (pseudomalignant myositis ossificans) and two with history of trauma. We review the conceptual, etilogical, diagnostic aspects and the indications for removing the lesion in literature.

Fifteen femoral shaft fractures treated with interlocking nailing · Kempf and Grosse's technique are collected. This procedure is suitable for some femoral fractures which could not be treated with the usual Küntscher's method. The biomechanical conditions of Kempf's system improved the results: the fixation is solid and stable.

Twenty-nine cases of Acute Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) rupture were collected out of' 251 <..'tlses of Acute Capsule-Ligament knee injuries f'rom 1971 to 1983. The anatomy, function and blood supply are reviewed. Two mechanisms of injury are distinguished. The true significance of the posterior drawer-sign is discussed. Average follow-up was of 4,6 years (range 2-12). Excellent results werw obtained by surgical treatment in isolated lesions and good results in combined lesions.

Se: presentan 5 casos de luxación posterior de hombro; dos de ellos corresponden a fractura luxación. La etiología en todos fue traumática. Se analiza los diferentes mecanismos lesionales las manifestaciones clínicas y los signos radiográficos para tratar de evitar que esta lesión pase desapercibida. Finalmente se discute su tratamiento y pronóstico.
