The new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has a remarkably high transmissibility potential and sometimes invades the central nervous system (CNS). The study of the involvement of the nervous system in the pathogenesis of the disease is especially interesting. Currently, there are only three main theories about it: direct neuroinvasion; blood-brain barrier (BBB) crossing and nicotinic hypothesis. Un dels grans problemes a què es veuen sotmesos els immigrants, quan arriben a un nou país és l'aïllament que pateixen, perquè no coneixen ni comparteixen els valors del lloc de destí. Un tal aïllament és el causant de la reducció en les possibilitats d'èxit econòmic i laboral, on el cercle d'amistats és molt reduït i generalment limitat a membres de la seua mateixa comunitat origen. Un procediment que s'ha demostrat eficaç per a afrontar aquesta carència ha estat el condicionament avaluador, que permet adequar els propis valors als del lloc de destí.
