Observation of Coulomb-assisted nuclear bound state of $��^-$-$^{14}$N system
In an emulsion-counter hybrid experiment performed at J-PARC, a $��^-$ absorption event was observed which decayed into twin single-$��$ hypernuclei. Kinematic calculations enabled a unique identification of the reaction process as $��^{-} + ^{14}$N$\ \rightarrow\ ^{10}_��$Be + $^5_��$He. For the binding energy of the $��^{-}$ hyperon in the $��^-$-$^{14}$N system a value of $1.27 \pm 0.21$ MeV was deduced. The energy level of $��^-$ is likely a nuclear $1p$ state which indicates a weak $��N$-$����$ coupling.

Worldwide comparison of ovarian cancer survival: Histological group and stage at diagnosis (CONCORD-2)
Abstract Objective Ovarian cancer comprises several histological groups with widely differing levels of survival. We aimed to explore international variation in survival for each group to help interpret international differences in survival from all ovarian cancers combined. We also examined differences in stage-specific survival. BACKGROUND: Global inequalities in access to health care are reflected in differences in cancer survival. The CONCORD programme was designed to assess worldwide differences and trends in population-based cancer survival. In this population-based study, we aimed to estimate survival inequalities globally for several subtypes of childhood leukaemia.
