Zusammenhang zwischen Verstreckbedingungen, Orientierung und morphologischer Struktur von Polyäthylenterephthalat

Amorphe Proben von Polyathylenterephthalat wurden bei Temperaturen zwischen 20 °C und 100 °C mit Verstreckgeschwindigkeiten zwischen 0,5 und 8000% min−1 verstreckt. Das Verstreckverhaltnis betrug 4,4. Nach dem Verstrecken wurden die Proben 5h lang bei Temperaturen T k zwischen 150 °C und 240 °C kristallisiert. Die Dichte, die Rontgenkleinwinkelstreuung, die Rontgenweitwinkelstreuung und die Doppelbrechung der Proben wurden gemessen, um Informationen uber die morphologische Struktur zu erhalten.

Amorphous samples of polyethylene terephthalate were stretched with different rates and stretching ratios at different temperatures. Afterwards they were crystallized. The arrangement of the crystals and the conformations of the chains in the noncrystalline regions were investigated by means of X-ray wide-angle scattering, X-ray small-angle scattering, birefringence measurements and nuclear magnetic resonance measurements. The influence of the morphological structure on the mechanical strength was determined. The stretching ratio itself generally does not characterize the orientation state.
