The book presents the work of the research group "The acrobatics of dying" on the theme of death in contemporary culture, starting from the clinical practice of palliative care. It contains the texts of palliativist doctors, philosophers, psychologists, psychotherapists, anthropologists, theologians, art historians and experts in visual culture, who were presented in a series of seminars held in the context of the personal exhibition of photojournalist Gianni Cipriano in Palermo .
