A prospective trial was performed to evaluate a prognostic model for selecting patients (pts) treated with systemic chemotherapy (ct) who may also be candidates for surgical intervention. Background Docetaxel-based chemotherapy is effective in metastatic gastric and gastro-oesophageal junction adenocarcinoma.
