The vulvo-vaginal atrophy (VVA) is a chronic condition characterized by gradual involution of the mucous membranes and vulvo-vaginal tissues, which is manifested in the climacteric phase. Numerous therapeutic options, hormonal and non-hormonal, have been proposed to alleviate the symptoms related to VVA, but to date none of them is able to guarantee long-term effects. Correlazione tra danno cerebrale e quadri istopatologici placentari
La Paralisi Cerebrale Infantile (PCI) è una delle più comuni infermità dell'infanzia. Le cause responsabili del danno encefalico sono molteplici e vengono classicamente suddivise in prenatali, perinatali e postnatali. Nel presente lavoro è stata condotta un'analisi delle alterazioni istopatologiche a carico della placenta e degli altri annessi fetali, al fine di valutare possibili correlazioni tra le alterazioni macro e microscopiche a livello placentare e l'outmcome neurologico neonatale.
