BACKGROUND: Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) and Parkinson disease dementia (PDD) are progressive and disabling neurodegenerative disorders, which are often misdiagnosed due to theirs overlapping clinical and paraclinical features. Nevertheless, their adequate management requires an accurate differential diagnosis.
