Helianthemum abelardi sp. nov.: una especie malinterpretada de las zonas áridas del sureste de la Península Ibérica (España)

Se propone un nuevo taxon del género Helianthemum (Cistaceae): Helianthemum aberlardoi Alcaraz sp. nov., característica de los tomillares litorales de las costas del Sureste de España, que ha sido localizada entre El Portús (Murcia) y Cabo de Gata (Almería). A new species of Helianthemum (Cistaceae): Helianthemum abelardoi Alcaraz sp. nov. is proposed; this species is a component of the thyme-brushwood vegetation which extends along the coast between El Portús (Murcia) and Cabo de Gata (Almería).

Lectotipificación de Helianthemum fontqueri Sennen (Cistaceae), nombre prioritario sobre H. abelardoi Alcaraz

The typification of the name Helianthemum fontqueri Sennen (Cistaceae) is discussed. A specimen preserved in the Sennen Herbarium (BC-SENNEN, Barcelona) is designated as a lectotypus, with several isolectotypus in other herbaria. Its synonymy is discussed and is included within the present taxon to the recently described H. abelardoi Alcaraz. Finally, a detailed map with the current known distribution of the species is presented.
