L'éducation comparée en France : état des lieux

This chapter of a book devoted to the French speacking approaches in comparative education presents a state of the art of teaching and research in this subject in France. A survey carried out with universities and teacher training institutions (IUFM) shows that comparative education is taught in approximately fifteen universities and half a dozen of IUFM. The analysis of the course programmes reveals the impact of European construction on course contents. The researches are conducted by teams that are in general recognised institutionally and are boosted by national and international (mainly European) programmes
