26 olecranon fractures have been treated from 1985 to 1987 with internal fixation with two l. Q. L. holed needles supported with tension band wiring. A revision of the fracture classification was carried out. A biomechanical analysis of this osteosynthesis was undertaken at the Politechnic University of Valencia. Excellent results of this surgical management have been obtained.
