Analisi critica di una decisione di legittimità (Cass., sez. V, 23 luglio 2020, n. 25838) che ha riguardato le modalità di partecipazione a distanza all’udienza di riesame in un processo relativo all'accertamento di fatti di mafia. Oltre che sull'eventuale esistenza di invalidità processuali il contributo si sofferma sui criteri valutativi utilizzati in questa peculiare tipologia di accertamenti.
Tower of London test: a comparison between conventional statistic approach and modelling based on artificial neural network in differentiating fronto-temporal dementia from Alzheimer's disease
The early differentiation of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) from frontotemporal dementia (FTD) may be difficult. The Tower of London (ToL), thought to assess executive functions such as planning and visuo-spatial working memory, could help in this purpose. Twentytwo Dementia Centers consecutively recruited patients with early FTD or AD. When the amnestic mild cognitive impairment disappears: characterisation of the memory profile
BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Subjects affected by mild cognitive impairment (MCI) may improve during the observation period. This is the first study investigating qualitative features of memory deficits in subjects affected by reversible MCI [reversible cognitive impairment (RCI)]. METHODS: Baseline cognitive and memory performances of 18 subjects affected by amnestic MCI who had normalized cognitive performances at follow-ups were compared with those of 76 amnestic MCI subjects who still showed impaired cognitive performances at the 24-month follow-up (MCI) and with those of a group of 87 matched control subjects (normal controls).
