Industry 4.0

The aim of this chapter is not to create another systematic analysis of previously existing works but to present the results of these studies. This allows to identify the key characteristics of Industry 4.0, which are presented in a word cloud. This is a kind of summary of the diversity of the definitions and the basis for identifying the essence of Industry 4.0. In this chapter, the classic process of production management is characterized and any changes that have occurred (or will occur) as a result of the implementation of solutions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution are identified.
