Abstract Productivity, reliability, controllability, flexibility, and affordable costs represent key aspects in mobile machines. Additionally, due to the high fuel price and the introduction of stringent emission regulations for diesel engines, the reduction of fuel consumption while persevering the existing performance is the current demand.
