aporie e distorsioni del femminismo radicale
In this article, I will show that there are some fa llacies in the radical feminist thought, for exampl e in MacKinnon, Berg, Russel, Andrea Dworkin. I will foc us on different themes: violence against women, dif fusion of a patriarchal conception in the mass culture, po rnography, and the concept of free choice.
Institutions, Symbolic Networks and Transindividual.
The paper introduces a fundamental topic of actual debate in philosophy of institutions: the linguistic dimension of political praxis. In order to analyze such topic, we mention some theoretical points of this debate: a) the actual status of the concept of institution; b) the notion of social imaginary; 3) the notion of semogenesis.
Effect of the inclusion of lemon citrus pulp in the diet of Valle del Belice lactating ewes. Milk production and composition.
Lemon citrus pulp residues from the citrus juice industry; it belongs to the citrus by-product that are more extensively used for livestock feeding. Furthermore, citrus pulp is a source of flavonoids such as hesperidin and naringin, which have antioxidant properties. This study aimed to investigate the effect of fresh lemon citrus pulp (LP) as natural antioxidant, on feeding behavior, milk yield and milk quality of Valle del Belice lactating ewes in the hot summer season in Sicily. A total of 15 second lambing ewes were individually allocated in 3¥3 m box and fed with 3 diets in a 3 ¥ 3 Latin square design, with 3 phases composed of 21 days. The diets were: LP0, mixed hay ad libitum plus 60…
FUNCTIONAL CONNECTIVITY OF THE CEREBELLUM INPATHOLOGICAL GAMBLER
Confronto tra la produzione di latte nell’arco di una intera lattazione e quella ottenibile nei primi 6 mesi.
Come interpretare il Principio del danno
In this article I will analyse seven types of harms, which can be relevant or irrelevant for the justification of the use of criminal coercion. This conceptual operation is important to solve a fundamental problem, relative to the validity of the Offence Principle according to the liberal ethics
Resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging analysis of the brain of pathological gamblers
Purpose . Gambling disorder has been recently reclassified under the category ‘‘substance-related and addictive disorders”. Recent studies performed through functional MRI (fMRI) have shown that the perseverance of some behaviors can alter brain activation [1,2]. In this work we aim at investigating functional connectivity changes in pathological gamblers (PGs) in comparison to healthy controls (HCs) by means of resting state functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (rs-fMRI). Methods and materials. Thirteen HCs and fourteen PGs were recruited (all right handed males; drugs free; mean age 36 ± 10 yrs). All acquisitions were performed through a 1,5 T MRI scanner using a 8-channels phased-array …
Impulsivity and Stress Response in Pathological Gamblers During the Trier Social Stress Test
Gambling has been associated with increased sympathetic nervous system output and stimulation of the hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal axis. However it is unclear how these systems are affected in pathological gambling. This study aimed to investigate the effect of the Trier Social Stress Test (TSST) on cortisol and on cardiac interbeat intervals in relation to impulsivity, in a sample of male pathological gamblers compared to healthy controls. In addition, we investigated the correlation between the TSST, duration of the disorder and impulsivity. A total of 35 pathological gamblers and 30 healthy controls, ranging from 19 to 58 years old and all male, participated in this study. Stress respon…
