La actual villa de Chulilla -provincia de Valencia-, alberga dos piezas importantes en el patrimonio histórico-artístico valenciano: el castillo-fortaleza y la Iglesia Parroquial. Este estudio ha tratado de sacar a la luz la documentación inédita conservada en el Ayunta miento de Chulilla; ello nos ha permitido avanzar en el conocimiento de la historia del castillo y de la iglesia, así como completar parte de la Historia valenciana. Inthe present village of Chulilla -province of Valencia-, there are two importants items in the historie and artistic heritage of Valencia: the castle-stronghold and the Parish Church. This study attempts to bring to light the unpublished documents kept in the Town Hall in Chulilla. As a consequence of this we have been able to make progress in our knowledge of the castle and the church, arid filling at the same time a gap in the history of Valencia.
