La pregunta por el Proceso Constituyente exige buscar estándares que posean una pretensión de universalidad, de modo que cualquier actor involucrado, independientemente de sus juicios e intereses específicos, pueda aceptarlos como válidos. Ello debe llevarnos a formular la pregunta por las condiciones de aceptabilidad racional de un proceso fundado en la intersubjetividad. En otras palabras cuáles son las condiciones que debe satisfacer un consenso conseguido comunicativamente para que pueda tener las funciones de coordinación.
