En este artículo se analiza la pena de cadena perpetua, su nacimiento y abolición, algunas de las razones que conducen a pretender su reintroducción en la legislación penal, la revisabilidad de la pena como condición de legitimidad, las iniciativa para reformar el Código penal y qué han dicho al respecto la Comisión de Estudios e Informes del Consejo General del Poder Judicial y el Consejo Fiscal. This article analyses the life sentence, its birth and abolition, some of the reasons that lead to claim its reintroduction into the Penal Code, the review of sentence as Rightfulness requirement, the initiatives to reform the Penal Code and what the Commission for Studies and Reports of the Judiciary Council and the Public Prosecutor Council have said about.
