In Morocco the genus Pterocephalus ADANS. (Dipsacaceae) is represented by two species: Pterocephalus depressus COSSON & BALANSA, endemic in the Grand Atlas and Pterocephalus kunkelianus PERIS, ROMO & STUBING sp. nova, endemic in the central part of the Rif mountains. Information on the nomenclature, morphology, ecology and distribution of both taxa in Morocco is given here and original illustrations are also included. In Marokko wird die Gattung Pterocephalus ADANS. (Dipsacaceae) durch zwei Arten vertreten: Pterocephalus depressus COSSON & BALANSA, endemisch im Grosen Atlas, und Pterocephalus kunkelianus PERIS, ROMO & STUBING sp. nova, endemisch im zentralen Rif-Gebirge.
