Che relazione esiste tra il corpo di ciascun individuo e la sua identità individuale? La nostra identità rimane immutata nel tempo, permettendoci di narrare un’autobiografia lineare, o possono sopraggiungere eventi accidentali che contribuiscono a modificarla radicalmente, dando vita a una nuova versione di noi stessi, a una nuova storia? In questo articolo ci proponiamo di rispondere a tali domande partendo dalle riflessioni della pensatrice francese Catherine Malabou. Affronteremo il problema della costruzione e della decostruzione dell'identità individuale alla luce dell'ontologia dell'incidente, analizzando il concetto di plasticità negativa e cercando di delineare come un evento accidentale possa essere “creativo”, dando vita a nuove narrazioni di noi stessi. What relationship exists between the body of each individual and his identity? Does our identity remain unchanged over time, allowing us to narrate a linear autobiography, or can accidental events that contribute to radically change it occur, giving life to a new version of ourselves, a new story? In this article, we intend to answer these questions starting from the reflections of the French thinker Catherine Malabou. We will tackle the problem of the construction and deconstruction of individual identity in the light of the ontology of the accident, analyzing the concept of negative plasticity and trying to outline how an accidental event can be “creative”, giving life to new narratives of ourselves.
