The celebration of taste extends beyond the table, even to out-of-home dining. It finds its audiences everywhere, at all scales of commercial spaces, in the media, businesses and schools, cultural venues, events and trade shows, and tourism and wine tourism initiatives where cities and local authorities play their part in attracting visitors. All these spaces of mediation and mediatization of taste, watered down with images, texts, objects, style, see the public being made and undone, in ephemeral mode or in the long term, in visible worlds of users, visitors, table lovers or invisible populations of Internet users, readers. Amateurs of taste, defenders of taste, contemptuers of bad taste.
