The Valencian Community, in the development of its regional law, adopted Law 5/2011, of 1 April. Nevertheless, after several pronouncements, this law was declared unconstitucional by STC 16 November 2016. This reality causes the legal regulations and the law applicable in the Valencian Community is not as intelligible as would be desirable and requires a critical review.
