Il contributo prende in esame una statua togata rinvenuta nel sito di Halaesa prima dell'avvio delle indagini scientifiche e ne effettua una ricontestualizzazione, sulla base dell'analisi dell'iconografia, dello stile e dei dati antiquari, nell'alveo della ritrattistica medioimperiale. Viene vagliata e ammessa la possibilità del collegamento con la dedica di un'effigie onoraria per un retore, rinvenuta nell'agorà di Halaesa. The paper examines a togated statue found on the site of Halaesa before the start of scientific investigations and carries out a re-contextualization, on the basis of the analysis of iconography, style and antiquarian data, in the bed of middle-imperial portraiture. The possibility of connection with the dedication of an honorary effigy for a rhetorician, found in Halaesa's agora, is examined and admitted.
