Role of nitrogen fixing microorganisms in increasing the productivity of agricultural plants

The paper presents data on studying the most favourable conditions for development and active physiological activity of nitrogen-fixing microorganisms (increasing the quantity of nitrogen-fixing microorganisms in soil with help of bacterial fertilizers and selection of agrotechnical methods, plant selection on increasing of symbiotic nitrogen-fixing intensity, etc.). the dependence of nitrogen-fixing level on complementarity of macro- and micro-symbiont and their adaptive properties has been determined. The scheme of the principal stages of legume and nodule bacteria selection for the increasing of nitrogen-fixing intensity was elaborated as the result of theoretical work with selections of Selection-Genetic Institute of Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Three varieties of soy-bean with heightened nitrogen-fixing intensity (such as Odesskaya 124, Arcadia Odesskaya, Krepysh) was obtained. It was shown that the use of rhyzoagrin, rhizoenterin, flavobacterin, asorhizin, and other highly effective biopreparations for cereals increases the yield by 10-30% and frequently leads to the increase of protein in it
