mobi_pEARTHition è un pannello che si presta ad essere utilizzato in modo versatile per realizzare partizioni verticali mobili all’interno di abitazioni. Esso è costituito da un telaio in legno che si sviluppa attorno a un riquadro centrale, le cui dimensioni si riferiscono alla misura standard del tatami (cm 90 X 180). Tale riquadro è chiuso da una stuoia di canne schiacciate, che su un lato rimane a vista e sull’altro è rivestita da un intonaco in terra cruda addizionata di piccoli frammenti di paglia, la cui superficie è rifinita con la tecnica giapponese Migaki. mobi_pEARTHition is a panel that can be used in a versatile way to achieve mobile vertical partitions inside the dwellings. It consists of a wooden frame around the central part, whose proportions refer to the standard measure of the tatami (cm 90 X 180). The central part is a mat of interwoven flattened canes that is exposed on one side and covered by earthen plaster on the other side. The plaster contains finely crushed dry straw and the surface finish is polished by means of the Japanese Migaki technique.
