INTRODUCTION: A growing body of evidence indicates that risk of CV events is higher in HIV-infected patients (HIV?) when compared to HIV-uninfected persons (HIV-). This enhanced risk may in part be mediated through preclinical CV damage. Large artery stiffness, a well-documented marker of arterial damage and predictor of adverse CV prognosis, is usually assessed by measuring aortic pulse wave velocity (PWV). Sono stati realizzati 4 campi sperimentali al Nord, 4 al Centro e 5 al Sud e Isole, con una produttività media per ciascun areale rispettivamente di: 5,9; 4 e 4,7 t/ha. France must implement voluntarist policies in order to reduce CO2 emissions, which raises questions regarding the effectiveness of competing options and their costs, for both public finances and society. This paper estimates abatement costs of one ton of CO2 from three scenarios aimed at softening the environmental impacts of freight moved by trucks. Hybrid trucks may generate large CO2 savings (5.7 Mt/year in 2030), at a moderate discounted abatement cost (88 €/t). The option based on natural gas for vehicles leads to a similar abatement cost and to lower environmental gains (3.2 Mt/year in 2030). This study provides a baseline assessment of cadmium, copper, iron, manganese, lead, and zinc concentrations in muscles, gills, and exoskeleton of the Lessepsian blue swimming crab Portunus segnis captured in the Gulf of Gabès (Southern Mediterranean Sea, Tunisia) in November 2015. Furthermore, the species’ trophic position is estimated using CN stable isotope analysis. The exoskeleton showed the lowest metal contents; in soft tissues, the essential Cu, Fe, and Zn and the non-essential Cd, Mn, and Pb showed the highest and lowest concentrations, respectively. Celem badań była ocena jednorodności zanieczyszczenia metalami ciężkimi (Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd i Pb) kory drzew liściastych pobranej z lasu mieszanego na terenie gminy Ozimek (województwo opolskie). W ramach biomonitoringu pasywnego pobrano próbki kory z trzech gatunków drzew liściastych: z brzozy brodawkowatej (Betula pendula Roth.), buka zwyczajnego (Fagus sylvatica L.) oraz z dębu szypułkowego (Quercus robur L.). Metale ciężkie oznaczono za pomocą absorpcyjnej spektrometrii atomowej (AAS).
