Lasten itsesäätelyn ongelmat tulkitaan usein yksittäisen lapsen piirteiksi tai sisäisiksi ongelmiksi, joihin vaikuttaminen koetaan vaikeaksi. Kouluissa itsesäätelyn ongelmat näkyvät tyypillisesti vaikeuksina tehtävien tekemisessä ja käyttäytymissääntöjen ja -ohjeiden noudattamisessa sekä ongelmina kaverisuhteissa. Myönteistä koulukäyttäytymistä edistää kasvattajien luoma selkeä toimintaympäristö ja oppimistilanteita tukevien tilannetekijöiden aktiivinen hallinta. This thesis presents a physics analysis performed with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider with data from the Run 2 (2015-2018) period of proton-proton collision at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity used for physics analyses of 139 inverse-fb. The analysis is a search for resonant and non-resonant Higgs boson pair production in the two bottom quarks and two photon final state. The Earth C-cycle is complex, where endogenic and exogenic sources are interconnected, operating in a multiple spatial and temporal scale (Lee et al., 2019). Non-volcanic CO2 degassing from active tectonic structures is one of the less defined components of this cycle (Frondini et al, 2019). This article presents a close reading of the augmented reality (AR) comic Modern Polaxis, which was created by Stuart Campbell. Possible Worlds Theory was applied to discuss how fiction, which creates its own possible worlds, integrates the additional layer(s) of AR into its storyworld. The analysis additionally sheds light on the reader’s position and how the augmented layer may affect the literary experience. We also discuss how the AR interface may contribute to digital literature more generally.

Three-dimensional imaging through patterned type-1 microscopy

We report a scanning non-confocal fluorescence microscopy scheme that provides images with optical sectioning and with a lateral resolution that surpasses by a factor of two the diffraction resolution limit. This technique is based on the type-1 microscopy concept combined with patterned illumination. The method does not require the application of phase-shifting or post-processing algorithms and provides artifact-free superresolved 3D images. We have validated the theory by means of experimental data.

In this paper we rely on causal discovery methods to infer spatial patterns of causal relations between several key variables of the carbon and water cycles: gross primary productivity, latent heat energy flux for evaporation, surface air temperature, precipitation, soil moisture and radiation.
