Maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt Latvijas pamatizglītībā strādājošo skolotāju apmierinātību ar savu darbu. Teorētiskā daļa sastāv no 2 nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā analizēts un aplūkots apmierinātības ar darbu skaidrojums dažādu autoru skatījumā. Otrajā nodaļā tika aplūkota skolotāju apmierinātība ar darbu, izglītības iestādes vadītāja loma tajā, kā arī darba vides ietekmējošie faktori skolotāju apmierinātību ar darbu. Empīriska daļa sastāv no 1 nodaļas ar 5 apakšnodaļām. Visās apakšnodaļās tiek analizēti dati OECD TALIS 2013 un TALIS 2018 pētījumu dati par Latvijas skolotāju apmierinātību ar darbu. W związku z implementacją zapisów nowej dyrektywy rachunkowości celem artykułu jest prezentacja zmian wprowadzonych w nowelizacji ustawy o rachunkowości z dnia 23 września 2015 r. Autorka określa ich wpływ na zakres informacyjny uproszczonego sprawozdania finansowego jednostki małej. Tale(s) of a forest – re-creation of a primeval forest in three environmental narratives

We analyze three environmentally conscious works that are concerned with the state of Finnish forests: the documentary film Metsän tarina/Tale of a Forest (2012), the book with the same name (2013) and the series of short documentaries Tarinoita metsästä/Tales from the Forest (2013). By combining methods from arts research and ecology, we ask how the narratives adapt material from nature photography. The film and book present mythic stories and old Finnish beliefs about forests. Application of a Bayesian Spatiotemporal Surveillance Method to NYC Syndromic Data

Incorporating prior knowledge (e.g., the spatial distribution of zip codes and background population effects) into a model using Bayesian methods could potentially improve outbreak detection. We adapted a previously described Bayesian model-based spatiotemporal surveillance technique to daily respiratory syndrome counts in NYC Emergency Department data in 2009, the year of the H1N1 influenza pandemic. Citywide, 56 alarms were produced across 15 zip codes, all during days of elevated respiratory visits. Future work includes evaluating our choice of baseline length, considering other alarm thresholds, and conducting a formal evaluation of the method across five syndromes in NYC.

Collision Avoidance with Potential Fields Based on Parallel Processing of 3D-Point Cloud Data on the GPU

In this paper we present an experimental study on real-time collision avoidance with potential fields that are based on 3D point cloud data and processed on the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). The virtual forces from the potential fields serve two purposes. First, they are used for changing the reference trajectory. Second they are projected to and applied on torque control level for generating according nullspace behavior together with a Cartesian impedance main control loop. The GPU algorithm creates a map representation that is quickly accessible. W związku z implementacją zapisów nowej dyrektywy rachunkowości nr 2013/34/UE celem artykułu jest prezentacja zmian wprowadzonych w nowelizacji ustawy o rachunkowości z dnia 11 lipca 2014 roku. Autorka określa ich wpływ na zakres oraz wartość informacyjną uproszczonego sprawozdania finansowego jednostki mikro w aspekcie potrzeb ich użytkowników. Jednostki mikro są nowo powstałą kategorią podmiotów, która została wprowadzona do regulacji krajowych w związku z implementacją dyrektywy 2013/34/UE.
