Using data from previous editions, plus 2,143 new measurements from 709 papers, we list, evaluate, and average measured properties of gauge bosons and the recently discovered Higgs boson, leptons, quarks, mesons, and baryons. Eryngium species (Apiaceae) are well known plants in ethnobotanical culture throughout world and also in Turkey. They are used as antitussive, diuretic as well as for analgesic and antiinflammatory purposes in traditional medicine. This study aimed to evaluate the antinociceptive activity of endemic Eryngium kotschyi Boiss. root extracts by bioguided fractionation. The antinociceptive activity of the extracts/fractions/compound was studied in mice using acetic acid induced writhing test and and hot plate test. Shifts in the visual coverage of refugees arriving in Europe and prominent compassion fatigue emphasize the need to examine visual strategies utilized to report on the crisis. This study focuses on representations of refugee children using a case of the World Press Photo (WPP) 2016. The material was interpreted with a model for visual rhetorical interpretation of journalistic photographs. Findings indicate the main visual elements involved in representing refugee children: visual trope of the migrant father, relation between children and barriers, visual oxymoron (juxtaposition of contradictory elements) and atmosphere in photographs. 2016. gada maijā norisinājās automatizētas braukšanas sacensības GCDC 2016, kurās piedalījās arī Elektronikas un datorzinātņu institūts sadarbojoties ar Latvijas Universitāti. Priekš šīm sacensībām tika gatavota automašīna, kurā, lai tā varētu noteikt savu atrašanās vietu, bija nepieciešams implementēt precīzu pozicionēšanas iekārtu. Darba mērķis ir iepazīties ar GNSS darbības principiem, tai skaitā RTK-GPS, integrēt RTK-GPS iekārtu pašbraucošās automašīnas sistēmā, pārbaudīt tās atbilstību sacensību izvirzītajām prasībām, kā arī salīdzināt šo iekārtu ar citām RTK pozicionēšanas iekārtām.
