Clerodane diterpenoids from Salvia splendens.

Four new clerodane diterpenoids, salvisplendins A-D (1-4), have been isolated from an acetone extract of the flowers of SalVia splendens, together with an artifact (5), arising from salvisplendin D (4) by addition of diazomethane, and the already known clerodane olearin (6). The structures of the new compounds (1-5) were established mainly by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic studies and, in the case of salvisplendin A (1), by chemical correlation with splenolide B (7). Complete 1H and 13C NMR assignments for olearin (6), not published hitherto, are also reported.

L’accertamento del trasferimento d’azienda in caso di cambio di appalto nel rito “Fornero”

Con la sentenza n. 2315/2020 la Suprema Corte ha affermato il principio che l’accertamento dell’anzianità di servizio conseguente ad un trasferimento d’azienda può essere affrontato nell’ambito del rito speciale di impugnazione del licenziamento introdotto dalla L. n. 92/2012. Nella decisione in commento la Corte ha altresì modo di dare continuità all’orientamento per cui la fattispecie traslativa si perfeziona anche in presenza di un mero passaggio di personale in forza di obbligo contrattuale o di legge. With judgement n. 2315/2020 the Supreme Court affirmed the principle that the ascertaining of seniority of service of the employee because of a transfer of undertaking can be examined by the judge according to the special rules of law n. 92/2012. The Court does not exclude a transfer of undertaking also in the case it concerns the staff only for a contractual or legal obligation. About ten years ago the Linguistic Atlas of Sicily (ALS) adopted the dictionary-atlas tool. When the rich onomastic universe began to be investigated its use was also evaluated on three different oral corpora: one relating to the popular forms of the toponymic heritage (DAToS Dictionary-toponymic atlas of Sicily) one concerning the plural inventory of ethnic nicknames (DASES Dictionary-atlas of ethnic nicknames in Sicily) the latest afferent to the popular individual and family anthroponomastic heritage (DASS Dictionary-atlas of the nicknames of / in Sicily). The MITOS system predicts long-term survival in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

ObjectiveThe choice of adequate proxy for long-term survival, the ultimate outcome in randomised clinical trials (RCT) assessing disease-modifying treatments for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), is a key issue. The intrinsic limitations of the ALS Functional Rating Scale-Revised (ALSFRS-R), including non-linearity, multidimensionality and floor-effect, have emerged and its usefulness argued. The ALS Milano-Torino staging (ALS-MITOS) system was proposed as a novel tool to measure the progression of ALS and overcome these limitations. La combinazione del vetromattone con le DSC consente di migliorare le prestazioni del prodotto originario rendendolo in grado di produrre energia pulita. The integration of Dye-sensitized Solar Cell (DSC) with the glassblock is disclosed. The combination of the two technological elements the glassblock and the DSC module enhance their own peculiarities. The final complete product is ready-made for installation owns the qualities of the glassblock and produces sustainable energy at the same time. The transparency and the thermo-acoustic insulation may be modulated according to the specific requirements of each case of installation. The product may be used for example to create PV panels for glazed and translucent façades that are able to perform efficiently in all light conditions (even in diffuse light also converting internal artificial light) that are not dependant on the angle of the solar radiation and do not suffer from the high operative temperatures of functioning due to the peculiarities of the DSCs. DSCs are made of economic and biocompatible materials and are produced with low-cost and highly productive printing methods on rigid or flexible substrates. With the integration of DSC modules with the glassblock PV panels coincide with the envelope itself so that they do not need any further structures to be installed on and allow the possibility of subtract from the price of the panel the price of the substituted building element allowing further economies. DSCs can be printed in different colours and with various patterns offering to designers and customers the possibility of intervening on the glassblock aesthetical aspect also taking advantage of the peculiar modularity of the glassblock for larger compositions of drawings on the building’s façade. Seven Hypotheses of integration are discussed in order to obtain DSC-integrated glassblock ready for the construction of a precast and dry-assembled PV panel which can use the horizontal and vertical cavities between the glassblocks to house plastic profiles where the electric interconnections and the steel bars -useful for improve the mechanical resistance of the panel- are integrated.Settore ICAR/10 - Architettura Tecnica

Vecchi e nuovi problemi in tema di intervento dei creditori nell’esecuzione (note a margine di Cass. S.U. n. 61 del 7 gennaio 2014)

Nel contributo in oggetto l'autore, muovendo dalla decisione delle Sezioni Unite della Cassazione n. 61 del 7 gennaio 2014, coglie l'occasione per riesaminare le vecchie e nuove problematiche sottese all’intervento dei creditori nel processo esecutivo. Il primo tema affrontato è quello della par condicio creditorum, che viene esaminata nella sua storia evolutiva dal Code Napoleon, al suo periodo di massima estensione, dato dal codice del 1940, fino al suo ridimensionamento a seguito delle riforme del 2005. Esamina quindi la possibilità del possibile superamento quoad effectum della distinzione tra intervento di creditori con titolo e senza titolo, alla luce delle evoluzioni della giurisprud…

It concludes however that a revolution like the aforesaid explained would be only apparently advantageouOld and new problems related to the intervention of creditors in the expropriation (marginal notes at Cass. Sez. Un. January 7 2014 n. 61) Moving from the decision of the Sezioni Unite n. 61/2014 the author takes the opportunity to re-examine old and new problems related to the intervention of creditors in the forceable execution. The first major theme concerns par condicio creditorum which is examined in its evolutionary history since the Code Napoleon through its period of maximum extension (the Code of 1940) until its reduction as a result of the reforms of 2005. The author examines the possibility to overcome quoad effectum the distinction between sine titulo et cum titulo interveners in light of jurisprudence’s evolution between 1978 2009 and 2014. The possibility in particular concerns those creditors sine titulo the where credit has not been contested (ex art. 499 c.p.c.) by the debtor seek payment and partecipate to distribution. In the last section the author examines the possibilities for other creditors to contest the intervention of the creditor sine titulo ex art. 499 c.p.c. (utendo iuribus in subrogation in case of inaction of the debtor) or in the distribution phase ex art. 512 c.p.c. He concludes that the only person that will be really damaged if he doesn’t contest - ex art. 499 c.p.c. - the credit it is precisely the debtor.
