In this article, we apply critical discourse analysis and ethnography to examine conceptionsand experiences of inclusive interaction and language use in the context of eldercare in aretirement home. Our data consist of interviews with residents, nurses and managers intwo bilingual eldercare units, as well as ethnographic observations of communication andlanguage use in these units. Our analysis focuses especially on language ideologies andmetalinguistic aspects of inclusive language in the context of eldercare. Tässä maisterintutkielmassa tarkasteltiin relationaalisen dialektiikan teoriaa ja analysoitiin sen sovellusmahdollisuuksia työyhteisöjen vuorovaikutussuhteiden tutkimukseen. Laadullisen tutkimuksen päätavoitteena oli pureutua siihen, miten opettaja ymmärtää ja rakentaa pedagogisen auktoriteettinsa koulun arjessa. Koska auktoriteettisuhde ei todennu ajatuksissa, puheessa ja kuvitelmissa, tutkin myös, miten auktoriteetti toimii ja saa oikeutuksen luokkatilanteessa. Relational expertise among Finnish educators working in extended hours ECEC

This study examined discourses and positions produced by educators (n = 31) on the topics of teamwork and professional expertise in extended hours early childhood education and care (ECEC). Theoretically, we follow the ideas of relational expertise and common knowledge. Previous research provides that relational expertise and creating common knowledge are useful in ECEC contexts, especially in teamwork. This paper is devoted to a dynamic stability analysis of an axially moving elastic web, modelled as a panel (a plate undergoing cylindrical deformation). The results are directly applicable also to the travelling beam. In accordance with the dynamic approach of stability analysis, the problem of harmonic vi- brations is investigated via the study of the dependences of the system’s nat- ural frequencies on the problem parameters. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt akadēmiskās angļu valodas vārdu krājuma biežumu un vārdšķiras laikrakstos ‘The Guardian’, ‘The New York Times’ un ‘The Baltic Times’. Bakalaura darbā izmantotās pētāmās metodes ietver teorētisko analīzi saistībā ar vārdšķirām, vispārējās lietošanas vārdu sarakstu un akadēmiskā vārdu krājuma sarakstu, kā arī kvalitatīvo izpētes metodi un akadēmiskā vārdu krājuma un tā vārdšķiru biežuma analīzi.
