This paper reports on the effects of excimer laser irradiation on an aluminum (Al)-doped silicon carbide (4H-SiC) layer. Specifically, high-concentration (1 × 1020at/cm3) Al-implanted 4H-SiC samples were exposed to a few pulses of 308 nm laser radiation (pulse duration of 160 ns), with fluence varying from 1.0 to 2.8 J/cm2. As a starting point, the laser-induced modifications of the morphological, microstructural, and nanoelectrical properties of the exposed 4H-SiC surface were monitored by combining different techniques. As databases make Corpus Linguistics a common tool for most linguists, corpus annotation becomes an increasingly important process. Corpus users do not need only raw data, but also annotated data, submitted to tagging or parsing processes through annotation protocols. One problem with corpus annotation lies in its reliability, that is, in the probability that its results can be replicable by independent researchers. The data show the quantitative annual, winter and summer precipitation reconstructions (mm/yr) from southern Iberian Peninsula for the last ~200,000 years (Camuera et al., 2022), based on the previously published fossil pollen data from the Padul-15-05 lake sediment record (Ramos-Román et al., 2018a, b; Camuera et al., 2019, 2021). The Padul-15-05 record, located in southern Spain (37º00'39''N, 3º36'14''W, 726 masl), was retrieved during summer 2015 from the current edge of the lake using a Rolatec RL-48-L hydraulic percussion coring machine. Branching Ratios and Spectral Functions of $\tau$ Decays: final ALEPH measurements and physics implications

The full LEP-1 data set collected with the ALEPH detector at the $Z$ pole during 1991-1995 is analysed in order to measure the $\tau$ decay branching fractions. Extensive systematic studies are performed, in order to match the large statistics of the data sample corresponding to over 300 000 measured and identified $\tau$ decays. Branching fractions are obtained for the two leptonic channels and eleven hadronic channels defined by their respective numbers of charged particles and $\pi^0$'s. Using previously published ALEPH results on final states with charged and neutral kaons, corrections are applied to the hadronic channels to derive branching ratios for exclusive final states without kao…
