INFLUENCIA DE FACTORES FAMILIARES Y PERSONALES EN LA EVOLUCIÓN NEGATIVA DEL TDAH

2016

Abstract.INFLUENCE OF PERSONAL AND FAMILY FACTORS ON THE NEGATIVE COURSE OF ADHDObjective. To study the effect of the cumulative adversity on the course of ADHD symptoms, associated problems and dysfunctionality of ADHD children. Method. 61 families of children with a clinical diagnosis of ADHD combined subtype were evaluated on two different times (Time I: mean age = 8.7; Time II: mean age = 11). We developed a personal risk index (high levels of ADHD symptoms, high number of associated problems, presence of oppositionism, stressful child characteristics and family history of ADHD), a family risk index (presence of mothers’ psychopathology, high parental stress and dysfunctional discipline…

Izlūkdienesti kā ārpolitikas instruments: Krievijas izlūkdienestu darbības vērtējums Baltijas valstīs

2020

2019

Opactwo klasztoru kanonikow regularnych reguły świętego Augustyna w Żaganiu powstało w 1284 r. w wyniku translacji z opactwa, a przedtem prepozytury ufundowanej przez Henryka Brodatego z Nowogrodu Bobrzańskiego.

Characterization and antimicrobial activity of the volatile components of the flowers of Magydaris tomentosa (Desf.) DC. collected in Sicily and Alge…

2014

The essential oils of the flowers of Magydaris tomentosa (Desf.) DC. (Apiaceae) collected in Sicily (MSi) and Algeria (MAl), respectively, were obtained by hydrodistillation, and their compositions were analysed. The analyses allowed the identification and quantification of 23 components in MSi and 60 compounds in MAl, respectively, showing a very different profile in the composition of the two populations. The main components of MSi were cembrene (28.2%), α-springene (17.5%) and β-springene (14.8%), also present in MAl but in lesser amount (0.4%, 1.8% and 0.9%, respectively), whereas the principal constituents of MAl were (E)-nerolidol (35.4%), α-costol (13.3%) and β-costol (6.8%). Both MS…

Monotherapy with indacaterol once daily reduces the rate of exacerbations in patients with moderate-to-severe COPD: Post-hoc pooled analysis of 6 mon…

2014

Summary Background In patients with COPD, exacerbations are associated with poor quality of life and may shorten survival. Prevention of exacerbations is, therefore, a key objective in COPD management. Indacaterol, a once-daily ultra-long-acting β 2 -agonist, has been shown to reduce exacerbations in various studies. This pooled analysis evaluated the effect of indacaterol on exacerbations versus placebo. Methods Six-month data were pooled from three randomized, double-blind, and placebo-controlled studies: indacaterol 300 μg versus placebo (1 year); indacaterol 150 μg and 300 μg versus placebo (6 months); and indacaterol 150 μg versus placebo (6 months). All treatments were administered on…

A 2600-year record of past polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) deposition at Holzmaar (Eifel, Germany)

2014

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are a proxy for climate- and human-related historical fire activity which has rarely been used beyond 1800 AD. We explored the concentration and composition patterns of PAHs together with other proxies (charcoal, C, N, S, δ13C, δ15N, and δ34S) in a sediment core of Holzmaar as indicators of variations in climate and anthropogenic activity over the past 2600 years. The concentrations of pyrogenic PAHs remained low (< 500 ng g− 1) from the pre-Roman Iron Age (600 BC) until the first significant increases to ca. 1000–1800 ng g− 1 between 1700 and 1750 AD related to regional iron production. The highest increases in pyrogenic PAH concentrations occurred w…

Italica (Seville, Spain): use of local marble in Augustan age

2010

This study concerns 51 marble finds made of “Cipollino verde” coming from the ancient city of Italica (north of the modern city of Santiponce, 9 km NW of Seville, Spain), the earliest Roman settlement in Spain, founded in 206 B.C. The aim of this work was to determine their provenance from Greek and Italian quarries or from local quarries worked in the Iberian Peninsula. Thin-section optical microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, bulk rock chemistry and O, C and Sr stable isotope analyses were carried out. Results were compared with literature data on “Cipollino verde” marbles quarried in southern Euboea (Greece), Apuan Alps (Italy), Almería, Extremoz, Seville (Spain) and Évora (Portugal). T…
