Close to the historical city centre, the prince Pignatelli built his villa-palace in the 18th century. Later it became the headquarter of the Order of the Holy Heart that instituted a school attended by the highest society. The 11430 m2 historical building (ground floor, first and second floor), along with its monumental garden (about 9600 m2), was abandoned by the nuns in 2008. The International Criminal Court (ICC) represents a criminal justice setting exceptionally welcoming to discourse scholars. The court website provides ample information about ongoing cases, hearings are livestreamed, and transcripts, video footage, and other relevant documents are available online. Against this background of comprehensive transparency, this paper explores the additional value of physically attending ICC trial hearings. DL_Track : Automated analysis of muscle architecture from B-mode ultrasonography images using deep learning

B-mode ultrasound is commonly used to image musculoskeletal tissues, but one major bottleneck is data analysis. Manual analysis is commonly deployed for assessment of muscle thickness, pennation angle and fascicle length in muscle ultrasonography images. However, manual analysis is somewhat subjective, laborious and requires thorough experience. We provide an openly available algorithm (DL_Track) to automatically analyze muscle architectural parameters in ultrasonography images or videos of human lower limb muscles.

Nel Meridione d’Italia e in particolare in Sicilia detto compito era affidato alla “fossa della neve”. In generale trattasi di un ambiente ipogeo nel quale veniva conservata la neve, per essere, nella sua maggiore quantità, utilizzata, nella tarda primavera e nella torrida stagione estiva, per la produzione di gelati e bevande fresche. Soccer is played by thousands of athletes across the globe and its participation increases the overall risk of injury, in particular, hamstring strain injuries (HSI). Biceps femoris (BF) has been shown to be involved the in 5 out of 6 HSI cases and risk factors including fatigue and short BF fascicle length (FL) have been identified.
