In this article, I discuss the private dress collection of Brita Kekkonen (1927–2013), a diplomatic wife, who was a very well-known figure in Finland during the period of the Cold War. Brita Kekkonen was also a very talented dress-maker and a very fashionable figure in diplomatic circles. Some eighty outfits made by Brita Kekkonen have survived to this day, in addition to her volumi-nous pattern collection, containing more than 1,000 patterns from several decades. Bakalaura darbā apskatīta, analizēta līgumu brīvība un citu privāttiesību principu mijiedarbība. Šo principu kompleksai izpētei nav pievērsta pietiekama uzmanība. Principu piemērošana tiesu praksē, likumdošanas procesā notiek samērā gausi un sadrumstaloti. Temata vērtība līgumu brīvības kontekstā parādās, jo ekonomiskās attiecības daudzveidojas, līdz ar tām arī līgumu brīvības tvērums. Tiesiskā demokrātiskā valstī tautai, kas ir neatdalāmi saistīta ar valsti, ir tiesības iegūt informāciju par valstī notiekošajiem procesiem un aktuālajiem jautājumiem, kā rezultātā tauta kā indivīdu kopums ir spējīga realizēt valsts efektīvu līdzdalību saistošo lēmumu procedūrā. Taču tiesiskā demokrātiskā valstī vārda brīvība nav absolūta, līdzīgi kā daudzas citas pamattiesības, arī tā pakļaujas ierobežojumiem un nosacījumiem. Measures of the Massive Mountain in Aleksis Kivi’s Play Kullervo

The story of a prisoner inside an enormous steel mountain is embedded in Kullervo, an early Finnish tragedy by 19th-century author Aleksis Kivi. I focus here on the exceptional size of the mountain, as told by the main character, Kullervo. Although the embedded story has aroused admiration in research, the mountain’s size and form do not appear to have done so. If taken literally, and assuming the shape of a double pyramid, at a minimum, the mountain’s surface area would be between that of Earth and Uranus, a planet that Kivi was somehow aware of. The mountain’s maximum surface area and volume would greatly exceed that of the Sun. This mountain cannot be localized in the near environment of…
