Effective Practices in Mitigating Soil Erosion from Fields

Soil erosion by water is a natural process that cannot be avoided. Soil erosion depends on many factors, and a distinction should be made between humanly unchangeable (e.g., rainfall) and modifiable (e.g., length of the field) soil erosion factors. Soil erosion has both on-site and off-site effects. Soil conservation tries to combine modifiable factors so as to maintain erosion in an area of interest to an acceptable level. Strategies to control soil erosion have to be adapted to the desired land use. Izdegšanas un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju saistības strādājošiem un nestrādājošiem studentiem

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot vai pastāv izdegšanas un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju rādītāju statistiski nozīmīga saistība strādājošu un nestrādājošu studentu grupās. Pētījumā piedalījās 100 respondenti (N=100), vecumā no 17 līdz 55 gadiem, no tiem 60 sievietes un 40 vīrieši. Pētījuma gaitā, respondenti tika iedalīti 2 grupās (katrā grupā 50 respondenti). 50 respondenti, kuri tikai studē un 50 respondenti, kuri studē un strādā. Kā mērinstrumenti tikai izmantota akadēmiskās izdegšanas aptauja studentiem un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju aptauja. Respondentiem tika lūgts aizpildīt aptauju elektroniski. Factorial Validity of the "Spanish Burnout Inventory" (SBI) in a Sample of Mexican Doctors

El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar la validez factorial del Cuestionario para la Evaluación del Síndrome de Quemarse por el Trabajo (CESQT). Se hipotetizó un modelo de cuatro factores. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 110 médicos del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social. El instrumento está formado por 20 ítems distribuidos en 4 subescalas: Ilusión por el trabajo (5 ítems), Desgaste psíquico (4 ítems), Indolencia (6 ítems), y Culpa (5 ítems). El modelo presentó un ajuste adecuado: GFI = .83, RMSEA = .061, NNFI = .90, CFI = .92, PNFI = .65. Teachers’ psychological well-being is a crucial aspect that influences learning in a classroom climate. The aim of the study was to investigate teachers’ emotional intelligence, burnout, work engagement, and self-efficacy in times of remote teaching during COVID-19 lockdown. A sample of 65 teachers (Mage = 50.49), from early childhood through lower secondary education, were recruited during a period of school closure to answer self-report questionnaires and other measures assessing study variables.
